I was patiently waiting for this to come out since I saw it on Breville's website months ago. I'm not sure why amazon itself does not sell this tea maker, but I purchased mine from [...] and I couldn't be happier. After switching to loose tea, I enjoyed experimenting with brewing time and tea strength but at times the constant attention needed in keeping track of time (especially the temperature each tea needed to be brewed in) could be a hassle. This reason, along with the fact that this tea maker both works as a kettle and brews your tea (thus eliminating the need for two separate devices), makes this a great product. Although the price is steep, I will say that the build quality is excellent, it's easy to clean, and the fact that the tea basket lowers by magnet I hope means there is less of a chance of malfunction. Thus far it's been about a week and I'm delighted with this product and the tea I've made with it. Highly recommended.
