I have the Animal upright Dyson and love it, so I decided to buy the hand held now that I am pregnant and I have a harder time dealing with the extension arm of the upright.  I tried out all of the attachments and the suction holds as promised and expected from a Dyson. 6-10 minutes seems short, but I have a hard time using the full 10 minutes, because a handheld is for smaller projects and if a job takes longer than that you probably should be using an upright.  I cleaned my couch, all the cushions, my bathroom floor, dusted three rooms, and did crumb pick ups and a flight of stairs within the 10 minutes.

<br/>The only things they could improve is of course giving another battery pack, in case you don't have 3.5 hours to wait for it to charge AND having a wall mount charger instead of just a cord, but those are minor.
