I keep reading the negative reviews on these knives where people are complaining about the rust spots.  Well, folks the directions plainy state WASH AND DRY BY HAND! I've never put quality pots, pans, or knives in the dishwasher.  It ruins them!

<br/>I've had these knives for 6 months and LOVE THEM! I sharpen them each time I take them out and wash by hand before I put them back and they are GREAT! Kudos to Chicago Cutlery!

<br/>UPDATE 14 May 2009:  2 years later still no rust and the blades are still sharp.  GREAT SET OF KNIVES!
